Our Areas of Impact
Little Chef’s Program
We offer culinary and gardening classes accompanied with discipleship for children in the community of Rincón Puerto Rico. We believe in sharing the word of God with the young generation of our community. Providing weekly classes during the months in Autumn and during the summer. Being partnered with the church “The Crossing” from Michigan, to offer a summer culinary camp during the month of June where we share Bible studies and how to make delicious food.
Summer camp
We have designed culinary courses that implement teachings of the Bible such as the sacrifice of Christ for us, having faith and the fruits of the Holy Spirit all interwoven with our culinary arts classes. Last summer we focused on the emotions that children feel as they grow and how God can guide us to become his beloved children and a reflection of his love to the world.
Relief efforts and distribution of food to vulnerable communities affected by poverty or natural disasters

Enjoy this mini documentary about the work that Siembra Vida does in Puert0 Rico. The video follows one young man who participated in our program and had battled with drugs since he was a child. He explains his challenges and how God moved his heart to change. Getting to know the young men on a personal level and understanding their struggles is something that moves us all and makes our heart more sensitive to the social issues around us. This film was presented at the Rincon International Film Fest in 2015 and the ENFOQUE Film Fest in 2016.
A special thanks to Julio Benito Cabrera and his family for creating such a moving short film.
